Join Stephen Sutton and learn how to make your own home for Great Horned Owls. It’s easy using Stephen’s simple design. You’ll take home the basic form for a Great Horned Owl’s nest and learn a lot about these helpful birds.
These predators can help keep your garden free from: rabbits, chipmunks, mice, squirrels and many other species including scorpions, snakes, lizards, skunks, voles, moles, shrews, rats, gophers and skunks, They supplement their diet with other reptiles, insects, fish, invertebrates, and sometimes carrion.
The donation for the class is $10 per person and $20/family. There is also a $5 materials fee to cover the cost of your great horned owl nest. You can donate at the garden. All proceeds go to our educators and garden upkeep. You might want to consider buying a 5 or 10 class package for a good discount. See the main Calendar page for details or to purchase a class package.
Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect. Class is limited to 15 people. See you at the garden!
