Community Garden Goals
The Idyllwild Garden Club’s Idyllwild Community Garden & Education Center is dedicated to providing our community with the opportunity to gain knowledge and hands-on skills to successfully cultivate edible gardens in our mountain environment. All ages are invited to participate in our classes.
Permaculture Principles of sustainability, land stewardship and protection of natural resources for a secure future are fundamental principles on which our classes are based.
Our Classes Are Designed To Promote:
- Success in cultivating edible home gardens
- Eating nutritious, home-grown organic food
- Availability of wholesome foods for low-income families
- Knowledge and skills in the cultivation and production of vegetables and fruits
Community Garden Fees
Advance Payments:
Pay in advance (links below) or at the garden center for classes.
1 Class Package - Individual $10
5 Class Package - Individual $35
10 Class Package - Individual $60
10 Class Package - Individual $100
Packages can be used for any class.

Our courses and classes are offered to schools, community organizations, or individuals of any age. A donation for each class is requested and much appreciated.
We rely on individual donations, grants and business sponsorships to fund our garden overhead and programs. Your donations will allow us to move forward, grow and expand.
A True Community Endeavor:
Volunteer gardeners, landscape designers, arborists, builders, permaculturists, educators and the business community have all contributed to the funding and infrastructure development of our site, as well as the preparation and presentation of our programs.
Donations of materials and labor to assist in maintaining the site are most appreciated as well as monetary donations.
