Gardening Like a Forest – Parts 1 and 2

April 20 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Donation

Join permaculturist, biologist and educator Peter Kindfield for a fascinating presentation how to better match our gardening efforts with those of a forest. Vermiculture, the growing of great soil through worm castings, will be discussed. You’ll learn how to make a simple vermi-composting system. Peter is an excellent environmentalist and permaculturist, so bring your questions

Peter will take you on an exploration of your environment, explain how to create excellent soil and the important inter-relationships between and among plants. You will make a soil sifter to use at home. If you have a hammer of portable drill, bring those along.

In addition to the $10 class donation, we are asking for a $5 materials fee that can be paid on the day of the class.

Donate $10 for this class or purchase a package of classes. Rain/snow cancels the class

Please RSVP below, class is limited to 15 people. See you at the garden!
