“Dr. Jennifer Gee will talk about the natural research at the James Reserve, located beyond Lake Fulmor. Additionally, Dr. Clarissa Rodriguez will give a presentation on her research that investigates the effects of drought, fire, and climate change on California Oaks along an environmental gradient in Southern California.”

A primary mission of the Natural Reserve System is to provide relatively undisturbed natural laboratories where scientists can conduct research on the workings of nature.
