James Reserve Field Trip
June 25 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Free
Join us on June 25th at 10:00 a.m. for a field trip to the James Reserve! The reserve is a beautiful, natural area close to Idyllwild where scientists can observe the workings of nature.
The entryway is located to the left of Lake Fulmor, and Casey Woodall, Reserve Director, says that they can handle up to 15 cars. We encourage carpooling to this event. After the tour of the reserve, we can enjoy a picnic lunch, so bring your lunch and water that day. Please let us know if you will be going on this field trip by replying to this email.
People can park in the parking lot for Lake Fulmor, unless they want to drive into the James Reserve. If they are driving into that area, I recall that there is parking at the reserve. If they’re leaving their cars at Lake Fulmor, they do need a wilderness pass permit, I believe, but not at the reserve.
