FOREST THINNING AND THE FIRE RESEARCH BEHIND IT

Deborah Geisinger has a Botany degree from UC Riverside though she often says she is…“an Ecologist at heart”. There, she worked in research biology until 2001 when she began consulting for private property owners about tree and plant health care.

She moved to Idyllwild 2005, and in 2006 she became certified with the International Society of Arboriculture. She is here to speak for the trees about how too many trees has sent our forest into decline.
